Porridge Radio have released a beautifully painted animated video for 'End Of Last Year', the third single from their anticipated new album Waterslide, Diving Board, Ladder To The Sky, due out on 20th of May on Secretly Canadian. Following on from the 'The Rip's' huge pop energy, 'End Of Last Year' is a more low key outing, gently buzzing reverbed guitars hover around melancholic keyboard chords as singer Dana Margolin delivers her typically honest and open lyricism with the earnestness and emotional intensity that the band have become known for: "It’s a song about difficult platonic love. It’s about not trusting my intuition, not trusting my body to heal itself, not trusting the people closest to me, but it is also an ode to all those people, and the contradictions and flaws that are as important a part of those relationships as the good bits."
